American Girl Baking Camp
Come and be a part of Sweet Legacy's first children's baking camp! Our first camp will be centered around the American Girl Baking cookbook. Bring your doll and join in on the fun!
Each day will be guided by owner and pastry chef, Chela Nolan. Along with making yummy treats, each child will learn how to read recipes, measure ingredients, and safely use kitchen appliances and utensils. We will explore different baked goods and baking techniques to give variety.
Come for 1, 2 or all 3 days as your schedules allow!
Camp dates and age range:
June 9-11, 2025
9:30am-12:30pm each day
Ages 6-11
What's on the menu?
June 9th:
Thumbprint cookies
PB&J or S'mores cupcakes
Mix pinwheel cookie dough
June 10th:
Mix dough for cookie flour pops
Assemble and bake the pinwheel cookies
Frost cupcakes from Monday
June 11th:
Butterfly themed, chocolate dipped madeleine cookies
Decorate Flower cookie pops
What does the camp include?
-Professional Instruction and hands on baking experience
-An Apron and Chef hat to take home at the end of camp
-The American Girl Baking Book with a certificate of achievement
-A sampling of the treats made each day to take home and share with family
